The Celts believed the fox to be a guide. They understood that the fox knows the woods intimately, and they would rely upon the fox as their guide in the spirit world. In Finland, the aurora borealis is known as revontulet ("fox fires") because it was believed that the lights were produced by a fox, painting the sky with its tail as it ran through the sky.

I support sustainability and reducing environmental impact wherever possible in my business. The bronze used in my pieces is formulated with approximately 10% tin and 90% copper. All of the copper used comes from recycled scrap copper. My silver pieces are cast from reclaimed silver.
The cardboard, foam, and zip lock bags used in packaging my pieces for shipping are all reclaimed.
I am enrolled in the Lucid system in Germany ( #DE5683538432755) to insure the shipping materials I use to ship to Germany are dealt with in Germany.

I bought the fox pin from Master Ark and am so happy with it. This is the first time I've used Etsy to buy his work, BUT when he was resident in NM, I started with cloak clasps, penannular brooches, as well as a couple of drinking horns. The fox was special to my late husband and having this little fox brooch to wear is a happy link back to him.
