I love the otter and here is a choice of 3 types of timber that compliment this character.
The grey-brown walnut is the natural colour whilst the orangey swirly yew is not the right colour but adds a sense of movement to this shy , fast moving character.
I have just re-added the 3rd choice of featured spalted beech, with each one varying in cream or sandy shades with sometimes some very distinct inky black lines. Each item may vary slightly from the pictured item as i do not continually replace photos but you will be getting the wood that you have purchased and the pose never changes.
These items are finished with danish oil. They are 5.5 inches long by 2" wide by 2" high.
The pose that i settled with was what i consider to be a typical otter pose expressing alertness and fitness.
