Framed machine embroidered landscape. This embroidery depicts a summers day looking across patchwork fields. The sky has been carefully hand painted to represent cirrus clouds on a sunny day.
The embroidery has been stitched by machine using a variety of madeira threads. Many techniques have been used to create the textures within the fields. The fore ground field has a profusion of poppies.
The embroidery has been mounted in a natural wood box frame measuring 13 x 13 inches. The embroidery measures approximately 9 x 9 inches. The cream mountboard has been cut to keep the embroidery away from the glass.
