These kitchen towels are a variation on an old favourite. The traditional version was crocheted and had a button sewn into it. Unfortunately, the buttons were often too small and would easily undo when brushed against. They also fell off or caught things in the wash. These towels have a larger knitted button that does not come undone because of its size, does not fall off because it is part of the towel, and does not catch things in the wash.

These towels are also thicker and more absorbent than the standard kitchen towel meaning that they are better for drying your hands and will typically last longer than the traditional-style towel. In the case of these towels, two traditional kitchen towels have been put together to make a single, thicker towel.
