Star Trek: Picard Captain Rank Magnetic Pip Set

Styled after the larger rounded silver rank pips seen in the 2020 TV show, Star Trek: Picard, worn first by Captain William Riker.

Mix and match this Career Set to cosplay as your favorite Ensign, Lieutenant Junior Grade, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Commander, Commander, or Captain! (or Fleet Captain, upon request!)

How It's Made:
The pips are 3D printed in silver PLA, painted with your choice of bright silver or basic chrome, and include neodymium N48 or N52 magnets secured with super glue. The Chrome paint is recommended for a more durable option, as the bright silver may dull over time from handling.

What's Included:
The set includes 4 pips, 1 half pip, a magnetic backing strip spaced for 4 pips, and a bonus single magnet backing all packaged in a giftable black box. We use magnets instead of pins to keep your costumes in good shape and the pips evenly spaced! The magnetic backing is not painted, so colors may vary. The half pip center is painted black and sealed with a clear gloss.

Magnetic Backing:
Season 2 introduced a new curved style of these rank pips, so now you can choose between a flat backing or a curved backing! Season 3 uniforms utilize both flat and curved, just depends which you're wearing!

Magnet Strength:
We use rare earth neodymium N48 or N52 grade magnets which are stronger than your standard kitchen magnet.

Unpainted Option:
If you prefer DIY, an unpainted set is also available and usually ships the next day if you are in a hurry. They are printed in a silver PLA, and the print layers are slightly visible. They are nicer and shinier than in the picture (I need to update those!). The half pip will be left unpainted in case you'd like to paint the set yourself (unless requested otherwise).
