Most of Susan's design inspiration comes from her travels; particularly France. She has over thirty-five years experience in restoring, re-styling and re-purposing furniture and home decor. She gravitates towards working with wood, but also has a passion for books and mid-century design.
Susan is pleased to share her work and personal style in her shop, Rooster Alley Designs, named after the handcrafted folk art wood Red Rooster that belonged to her late father. The Rooster sits at the front door of her shop in the alley.
