We just purchased a 1989 Volvo 240, and it does not have drink holders, of course. This is a sturdy, high-quality product. The instructions say it will not hold a large cup. I am eager to give it a try with a medium cup :-) Highly recommend.

This cup holder is perfect for our Volvo 245 wagon (manual trans). You can tell it was thoughtfully crafted. It fits right into the small space perfectly. I'm 5' 3" and even when I have to move the seat all the way forward to drive, the seat just touches the cup holder, but it still works. If you are taller than me you won't have any problems at all. It works as-is for regular conical coffee mugs. For smaller drinks such as a pop can, we just added a clear plastic cup to the ring and it holds the can. It also can very fast, less than a week.

Item came in quick, product is perfect! Also comes with the screws needed for install. Lucky for me cause I was missing those screws!
