Hey! We’re Jude and Gabriel, the husband-and-wife duo behind Arkadia Embroidery.
What started as a little hobby making embroidered patches and keychains in a spare bedroom has turned into a full-blown family operation making embroidered sweatshirts, hoodies, shirts, patches, accessories, and whatever else we get the itch to create.
I’ve always been fascinated by embroidery. As a kid, I used to hang those little “Remove Before Flight” tags from my bikes and go-karts, and I thought it was so cool how much personality you could fit into a little piece of fabric and thread. Turns out, that fascination never really went away.
These days, our spare bedroom is packed with embroidery equipment, fabric, thread, and more unfinished ideas than I know what to do with. I handle the designing, digitizing, and production, while Gabriel is the creative force behind our TikToks, customer messages, and keeping this whole thing feeling like a real family business.
We make everything ourselves, right here in Southern Illinois. No print-on-demand warehouses, no mystery manufacturers, and no mass-produced inventory pretending to be handmade. Just us, our machines, and a lot of late nights after the kids go to bed.
Every embroidered design is digitized in-house, every garment is decorated by us, and our patches are finished on a real Merrow edging machine. Whether you’re ordering a single sweatshirt, a little embroidered keychain, or a whole stack of patches, there’s an actual person on the other end making sure it turns out right.
