Why are your dolls so expensive?
A single doll takes about a month of tedious work and fine materials to create, so I price largely based on my time and costs put in. An additional aspect to pricing is the rarity of each piece; I do not replicate dolls so each one is truly a one-of-a-kind fine art piece. I helped get my pricing from galleries I've worked with to make sure it's kept standard.
In the future I'd love to explore ways to reproduce parts quickly to cut down costs and time, but the vision for my dolls has always been to create detailed, original art pieces that can be enjoyed by collectors and doll lovers who want to invest in a gallery-quality sculpture that they can display and cherish forever, enjoying the fact that they own something no one else does.
