Hello, friends!

Wow, it’s been more than 5 years since my Beauty In Its Time shop was last open. It’s been a rough journey medically these last several years, but I’m so happy to share that I’m feeling better overall and definitely more stable than before which is a huge blessing!! 🥲

As of November 2025, I don’t know how long my health will stay stable like this (hopefully for a long time!), so I wanted to re-open my little shop.. ☺️

I also wanted to let you know that I recently started to sell handlettered goods (like greeting cards and bookmarks) on Etsy! You can read the whole story of how that began at painwithpurposeshop.etsy.com. ❤️

Hello, friends!

My name is Kerissa, and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. :) Since 2010, I’ve been fighting multiple medical issues, including a rare disorder called Mitochondrial DNA Depletion Syndrome. I’m unfortunately not able to work outside of home, so I instead learned how to make jewelry. That’s how Beauty In Its Time started! I also took numerous online design courses to learn hand lettering/calligraphy. In the fall of 2025, I opened another Etsy shop to sell hand lettered goods like note cards and bookmarks. You can visit it at painwithpurposeshop.etsy.com.

For more than 5 years, I sadly had to take a break and close my Beauty In Its Time shop due to a very rough time medically. But, I’m happy to share that I’ve been experiencing stable health this year (2025), so I wanted to start making jewelry again!
