Empecé a crear estas hojas de parches cuando compré mi primer sintetizador, el Roland JP-08. Trabajaba en varias canciones a la vez, cada una con diferentes parches/presets. Claro, el sintetizador podía guardar el preset, pero aún tenía que recordar qué número era, ¿y si quería recrear el sonido? Compré algunos sintetizadores más, una carpeta de tres anillas con varias carpetas, y estuve haciendo eso un tiempo hasta que descubrí que podía convertirlas en cuadernos de impresión bajo demanda. Así empezó todo.

Unos años después, hay más de 60 cuadernos individuales en Amazon con un tamaño perfecto de 15 x 23 cm. Son mucho más fáciles de guardar y hojear que un montón de hojas impresas de 28 x 18 cm. Dicho esto, no todo el mundo quiere el cuaderno, y quizás quieras guardar algunos retazos aquí y allá. Así que también pongo a tu disposición los imprimibles.

Recientemente comencé a convertir los diseños de caras de sintetizador que creé para las tapas de los cuadernos en pegatinas y las vendo aquí en Etsy.

I first started making these patch sheets for myself when I bought my first synth, the Roland JP-08. I was working on multiple songs at once, each using different patches/presets. Sure, the synth could store the preset, but I still had to remember which number it was, and what if I wanted to recreate the sound? I bought a few more synths, a 3-ring binder with a few folders, and was doing that for a while until I discovered I could turn them into print-on-demand notebooks. That's how all this started.

A few years later, there are over 60 individual notebooks on Amazon in a perfect 6"x9" size. They're MUCH easier to store and flip through than a bunch of printed 11"x7" pieces of paper. That said, not everybody wants the notebook, and maybe you want to save a few patches here and there. So I make the printables available, too.

I recently started turning the synth face designs I created for the notebook covers into stickers and sell those here on Etsy.
