Llevo muchos años trabajando y creando con arcilla, y recientemente he abierto esta tienda en Etsy con algunos artículos que elaboro habitualmente para comenzar esta aventura online.
Mi estudio está en el oeste de Carolina del Norte, en el pequeño pueblo de Brevard. Nos encontramos en las montañas Blue Ridge, conocidas como la Tierra de las Cascadas. La naturaleza es mi fuente de inspiración para todo lo que creo.
Compro la arcilla a un proveedor local y elaboro mis esmaltes con componentes secos y pigmentos. Tengo dos hornos donde cada pieza se cuece dos veces. Cada artículo que elaboro es ligeramente diferente, ya que están hechos a mano y cada cocción varía debido a factores como el clima o el resultado de la última tanda de esmalte.

I have been working and creating with clay for many years and have recently opened this Etsy shop with a few items that I consistently make to begin this online journey.
My studio is in Western North Carolina in the small town of Brevard. We are in the Blue Ridge Mountains and are known as the Land of the Waterfalls. Nature is what gives me inspiration for everything I create.
I buy my clay from a local source and I make my glazes from dry components and pigments. I have two kilns where each piece gets fired twice. Every item I make will differ slightly from one another because they are made by hand and each firing will vary due to factors like the weather or how the latest glaze batch turns out.
