Welcome to Challenge Coaching!

I’m McKenna Reitz—an award-winning educator, coach, and speaker who believes coaching is about far more than what happens on the court. It’s about building relationships, developing confidence, and helping athletes grow as people.

After 19 years as a varsity volleyball coach, and still coaching club volleyball, I know how much heart, preparation, and energy it takes to lead a team. I created this shop to share practical resources that help coaches feel prepared, supported, and intentional.

Here you’ll find The Coaching Playbook, a resource for coaches of any sport and level, alongside downloadable volleyball coaching tools to support your practices and season. Whether you’re coaching your first team or drawing on decades of experience, these resources give you space to reflect, fresh ideas to explore, and tools to make your own.

These are the resources I wish I’d had early in my career, shaped by lessons I’m still learning today.

Thank you for being here and for the difference you make in your athletes’ lives.
