Lovin cute clips and crafts :)
As a former full time teacher, I used multiple binder clips every single day. However, in spite of this, I was still somewhat disorganized because each of my piles of paper had the exact same style of boring black binder clip on them and I would often confuse them. This was not helpful when I needed to know which class needed grading, what needed filing, and which pile was for copying.
I finally decided that something had to change. After much thinking and research I decided that if I labeled and colored clips, it would be easier to differentiate and prioritize my work.
For my first set, I made six clips with "1st hour", "2nd hour" etc., for each of my classes. I also made ones that said "To File", "To grade", as well. I posted them on my Facebook page, and within hours, other teachers at my school had asked me to make them sets for their classes too. I made many sets with various colors and designs, and found that I really enjoyed creating them. My first few sets were my "test" clips, (used most every day in the classroom by my hard-working peers) - so I could see how they held up. I am pleased to say that they have held up extremely well.
Since then, crafting has become quite an obsession. I have expanded to customize flip flops, coasters, polymer clay jewelry, key chains and other items. I just began knitting again, and am adding hand knit items to the store. I have also just begun using polymer clay and am beginning to make earrings and holiday ornaments.
Please contact me if you are looking for something customized or special and I will be happy to work with you to create it. Thanks again for visiting my store. Colleen :)
