Backslider is an incredibly beautiful and powerful zine. For some people, I think this will be a window into a culture that's all around us but rarely enters public conversation. For others, the zine will be a welcome catharsis. Either way, each page is a work of art, and the zine itself is constructed with care and attention. It's a very cool example of what zines can do as a medium, so much so that I got multiple copies to share with local libraries. Truly amazing work!

A gorgeous work of art about a poignant and compelling experience. The collage, writing, and layout of every page is incredible. I was strongly moved by the author's account, which invites personal reflection and social critique. A truly fantastic zine.

Loved this zine! It's exactly what I needed at this time to help keep my inner spark sparking. To keep my eternal flame always there. This zine reminds one to keep moving forward...and no to waste ones energy or eternal fire on what doesn't serve us. Use this flame with purpose and intention to co-create what we are passionate about.

This is a creepy story written in a fast-paced style, almost like a screenplay. I love the eerie atmosphere and the folk horror vibes. I also enjoy the grisly pieces of flash fiction at the end of the zine that serve to deepen the history of the setting. Highly recommended for horror fans!
