The quality of this garment is outstanding, worth every penny and then some! I wanted an authentic looking doublet that would also be durable, something more akin to a real piece of clothing than a cheaply made piece of costuming, and that’s exactly what I got. The seller worked with me on getting my measurements correct and was quite patient with my fumbling around and many questions. The order was placed, the item arrived well ahead of time. FWIW, I am 6’ tall, I weigh 235 pounds, my shoulders are broad but I have more of a gut than I wish I did, and I ordered the XXL. They made some small alterations at my request but I can tell you that even without the alterations this size would have fit my frame fine. I hope this helps some of you in pulling the trigger on buying this item from these folks!

Hat was exactly as the picture showed and was amazing quality and craftsmanship! It was perfect for my son to wear to his art gala this year!!! He usually takes hats off but this one fit perfectly and was so comfortable he even left it on during dinner at the restaurant after the gala! Absolutely beautiful piece!
