One fateful day, I sat down to read a book called, "The Rag Coat" to my then four year old daughter. As part of a learning project, we decided after reading it to learn about quilting and sewing. I took on my first project - a rag quilt - which I made for her, and I have not looked back. I could never have imagined that one day would lead to this: an Etsy shop, a DIY Blog, and selling my products at craft shows! I have learned so much and made great friends through this adventure. Recently I have discovered that I have a passion for making things that hold things. I used to be obsessed with buying things that hold things and now that I have the *power* (yes, it feels like a super power) to make them, I can't stop.

Every time I sit down to make something, I can promise you at that moment, I am happy. I sincerely hope the joy sewing brings to me comes through in the product I create!
