Frequently asked questions
What is an SVG font?
An SVG font is used like a clip art file. You copy and paste the letters/images into your project ONE letter at a time. It is NOT the same thing as a True Type Font (TTF), you do not use our vectorized font files to type out words with your keyboard.
Do you sell TTF (true type font) files?
While a SELECT FEW of our letter sets do include a TTF file, the majority of our sets do NOT include them. This will be clearly stated in ad details. Please be sure to read all ad descriptions completely before buying. All sets DO include 3 vector formats SVG EPS & DXF and one raster format, PNG files.
What file formats do you sell?
All of our sets include the following file formats: SVG, EPS, DXF and PNG. A very small number of our sets include a TTF file, please read ad descriptions carefully for each item to see what is included.
Do I install or upload the "fonts" on my computer's font directory?
NO - SVG and DXF files are NOT the type of fonts that you install or upload into your computer's font directory. These are vector files, which are used like clipart, they are NOT to be confused with true type font (TTF) files that are installed. Unless a set specifically states a TTF file is included, you do not install anything.
I don't know how to use these files with my software. Do you provide help?
Because there are so many ways to use the files, and buyers use them with so many different programs (which often differ from what we use on the design end), it is not possible for us provide usage assistance. Cricut, Silhouette, SureCutsALot and others all have their own help centers which are posted on their websites.
Do you do custom orders? I would like to have something specific made.
Sorry, at this time we are not doing any custom orders.
