About Me: Graphic Designer and Artist - Gemma Crossley

Hello, and thank you for visiting my shop! My name is Gemma Crossley, and I am the creator and owner of Digital Gems.

I have always been passionate about art from a young age, constantly sketching and drawing. Over time, I pursued a career as a Graphic Designer and Artist, with my works being showcased in galleries, craft fairs, and online platforms.

As a mother of six wonderful children, I started my Etsy shop to balance my professional aspirations with family life. Etsy has given me the flexibility to work from home and contribute to my family’s income while taking care of my children.

I specialize in creating downloadable art, including SVG cutting files for Cricut and Silhouette machines, PNG clipart, and paper cut templates for hand cutting. Although I enjoy many art forms, my true passion lies in paper cutting. I love transforming simple paper into stunning works of art, each of which begins as a rough hand-drawn sketch and is then refined digitally.

My designs are inspired by various sources, including the beautiful countryside and places like the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The artwork there is incredibly inspiring, and I aim to incorporate that energy into my own creations.

I’m proud to share that I am now a contributing artist for Cricut and was honored to win an award from Theo Paphitis for my business. These milestones mean a lot to me, and I’m grateful for the support from my wonderful customers.

Shipping

FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

All items are delivered digitally, and you will receive an email with a link to download once payment is confirmed. You will also be able to find your downloads at any time at your Etsy Purchases page.

Files will be either in a SVG, DXF, PDF, JPEG or PNG format, For large files the images you receive will be in Zip file format, Each listing will specify. PNG files will be used when a transparent background is needed. All images are saved at a high resolution.

Digital Gems ltd is a digital download shop. By purchasing any Digital Gems designs, you will need to know how to download files, unzip files, and use your technology (Phones / computers / cutting software). Free tuition on using your technology is NOT included in the price of purchasing of your file, I am not able to offer any tuition services at this time.

All file links are automatically sent to your email address immediately after purchasing. You can also download the files from your Etsy purchase account at any time.

What you CAN do with Digital Gems design files:

• You ARE allowed to make / sell / gift physical projects that you have made yourself (Not using a third party).

What you CAN NOT do with Digital Gems design files:

• You are NOT allowed to change / reformat / modify our designs and resell the design files digitally.
• You are NOT allowed to claim our designs as your own.
• You are NOT allowed to use our designs and make them into dies, stamps or stencils for resale.
• You are NOT allowed to use our designs for POD (Print on demand).
• You are NOT allowed to share our designs with a third party. (i.e. sending the file to a printers for printing purposes.) Our files are only to be physically used by the person who purchased the design.
• You are NOT allowed to sell or share our files.
• You are NOT allowed to use our photos.
• You are NOT allowed to sell our designs as transfers or screen prints.

To fulfil your order, you must provide Digital Gems with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. Automatic Logging of Session Data

Your computer's session data, will automatically be logged. This information is anonymous and cannot be used to track your personal information. This data includes IP address, operating system and type of browser software being used and the activities conducted by the user while on our site. Do Digital Gems SVG files work with the Cricut Explore Machines?

Yes! The SVG files I sell work with the Cricut Explore Machines in the Cricut Design Space software.

When are you available to help?

I usually check for messages and answer them on an evening (British time) Monday to Friday.

Can I get a refund if the file doesn't work with my software?

Unfortunately due to the nature of digital files being non returnable, I am unable to offer refunds.

Do you offer .eps files?

Yes, each listing will state what files are included in the download. Most of my files will have an .eps file included.

Do you offer custom designs?

Unfortunately not, I am not able to offer custom designs at this time.

Do your cutting machine files work with the Silhouette Cameo machine.

Yes! All of my SVG files work with the Silhouette Studio Designer edition software, and most of my cutting files also have a DFX cutting file option that works with the Silhouette Studio basic edition software too. Each listing will specify what file types are included in the digital download.
