Do Tell Calligraphy and Designs has been in business since March of 2015 and is located in Orlando, Florida. Do Tell Calligraphy and Designs started when I needed it most. In January of 2015, I was supposed to be transitioning to a new corporate job. Two days before my start date, that job fell through. Being raised by self employed parents, I do not know what it is NOT to work. My “dream job” had fallen through. I didn’t know what I was going to do, I was heartbroken and terrified. In that moment, I truly felt like my world was shattered.
But, its funny how life works out. You see, I’ve always been a creative “crafty” person. I’m a left handed, DIY queen. In my process of interviewing for a new corporate job, I decided to take a calligraphy class. I love to learn, and anything artistic is therapeutic to me. I instantly fell in love, and as it turns out, calligraphy changed my life. What I had thought I wanted my life path to be, changed in a matter of three months. I dug out my old watercolors and began painting again, something I had not done in years and I finally began feeling like myself again.
I have practiced calligraphy almost every day since March of 2015. I’ve had the honor of working with many brides and businesses with their custom projects and I am so thankful for each person that chooses to work with me. I have also had the support of many local boutiques and online clientele that has allowed to me to create products to be sold at a wholesale cost.
The most important lesson that calligraphy has taught me is to remain humble and thankful for everyone that I have crossed paths with. I have built so many relationships and now, dear friends because of Do Tell. I’m hoping that you have fallen in love with our products and that we can begin a relationship as well. Because of people, and companies like you, Do Tell can continue to purse the passion I have for hand lettering, illustrations and trendy, fun products! Every product is made with so much love!
