Creative Inheritance
Je viens d’une longue lignée de couturières. Ma grand-mère a fait la robe de bal de fin d’études secondaires de ma mère en 19 et 60 ans, et MA mère a fait MA robe de bal dans les années 19 et 80; entre autres robes pour ma sœur et moi en tant que filles.
J’ai aussi hérité de leur trouble DE THÉSAURISATION DE TISSU, euh... Je veux dire, COLLECTION. Et ironiquement, maillés dans ma collection, sont des restes des tissus utilisés dans les robes mentionnées ci-dessus.
J’ai travaillé avec des architectes d’intérieur sur des oreillers, des rideaux et des couvre-lits (oh, mon Dieu!) et j’ai commencé ELL Custom Design, sous le nom de « Emma Lemma Lou ». Quand j’ai ENFIN eu ma MACHINE À BRODER BIG MOMMA à 6 aiguilles, j’ai découvert la beauté des articles PERSONNALISÉS.
J’ADORE que ce que j’offre puisse être modifié et mutuellement conçu par mes clients pour un article totalement unique et UNIQUE en son genre! Alors amusez-vous à regarder autour de vous, mais si vous ne voyez pas ce qu’il y a dans votre « esprit-œil », lancez-moi CONVO et commençons!!
I come from a long line of seamstresses. My grandmother made my mother's high school prom dress back in 19-and-60ish, and MY mom made MY prom dress back in the 19-and-80s; among other dresses for my sister and I as girls.
I also inherited their FABRIC HOARDING disorder, ummm... I mean, COLLECTION. And ironically, meshed within my collection, are remnants of the fabrics used in the dresses mentioned above.
I've worked with interior designers on pillows and curtains and bedspreads (oh, my!) and began ELL Custom Design, under the name of "Emma Lemma Lou". When I FINALLY got my BIG MOMMA 6-needle EMBROIDERY MACHINE, I discovered the beauty of CUSTOM items.
