A little about me...

Hi!

I’m Jessi, Full time mum and travel manager, part time crafter. I have always loved using my hands to make beautiful statement pieces. I get my love of crafting from my mum. Since I was young we have been making all types of jewellery from all kinds of materials.

I chose the name Fernweh Creates because Fernweh means a longing for far away places. I am Australian, living in Toronto, Canada with a new baby born in a pandemic world and am unable to visit home. I’m starting my journey of putting my pieces out there during this crazy time and the German word Fernweh really seemed appropriate to how I was feeling and what made me take this leap. I am using my crafting as a way to stay connected to myself and my home.
