Our Good Dog Story
🐾 It's been about a year since Good Dog was launched.
🐾 At that time, I was deeply depressed after the passing of our sweet Shih Tzu, Riley. He had been by my side through several illness and surgeries, always loyal and truly, the best companion. In his final days, I felt like I had failed him, not recognizing signs of his dementia and unable to help him. My teen son was also feeling lost without him and In his honor, we donated to our local shelter, but it really didn't feel like enough.
🐾 My son and I brain stormed ideas for a small business that could help animal shelters. I was already doing SMM in my 9 to 5, so expanding it seemed like a no-brainer. I could throw myself into creating, writing & designing for other small businesses AND help some furry friends along the way. Jake was eager to learn and help build the business, all in memory of our sweet Riley.
🐾 So here we are.
I'm excited to say that we've been able to send 10 goody boxes to animal shelters locally, and across the country, thanks to the overwhelming support of my clients. It's been amazing!
🐾 Not every day is a good day.
Anxiety & self-doubt creep in, but, then comes a new day with more to do and more doggies to help.
