Making People Smile, One Character at a Time
Grapevine Designs 3D began with a simple goal: to create original characters that make people smile.
After several years of cruising, I started making cruise ducks to share with fellow travelers. Rather than hiding them around the ship, I especially enjoy handing them directly to people and seeing their reactions. Those small moments of surprise and happiness became the heart of my shop.
Every character begins as an idea and is carefully developed, printed, inspected, and packaged by me. I work to create designs that have their own personalities, from cheerful cruise characters ready for the Lido Deck to larger collectibles made for display.
One of my favorite memories came from giving a Baby Jesus figure to a child during a cruise. Later, that child searched for me so they could give one back. That moment perfectly captured what I hope Grapevine Designs 3D can create: connection, kindness, and a little unexpected joy.
My shop continues to grow, but the purpose remains the same. I want each item to feel like more than something printed from plastic. I want it to become part of a vacation memory, a thoughtful gift, or simply a reason for someone to smile.
