Welcome to the Inked Designs Shop! My name is Elayna Speight and I am the graphic designer and illustrator behind Inked Designs, a DC area based graphic design studio.
Art and Design is truly my passion. I have been drawing and painting for most of my life. and I have been a graphic designer for over 5 years. I truly love what I do and I bring that passion to every project I take on. I am a stickler for simple, clean design and I am devoted to crafting the best design to meet your needs. I have to say I love what I do. I can't imagine myself doing anything else. Throughout my career (so far), I have created everything from logos and stationery, to posters and publications to wedding invitations and programs.
I have always been creative. I've been drawing and painting since before I could remember. I draw and paint because I love it and it's my outlet. I am inspired by fashion and fashion and style bloggers I see all over my Pinterest. I am also inspired by the Carefree Black Girl. She's an individual, not weighed down my the ever present negative stereotypes of black women. She is multidimensional with a mix of whimsy, laughter, intelligence, magic, the chicest fashion sense and passion. Custom fashion and wedding illustrations are also available.
