Passions into reality!
This shop all started with me combining some of my passions. I've enjoyed creating CAD models of FFXI weapons for myself as practice/fun for my real job. I decided to try and 3D print out one of my creations, the Mandau dagger, and see how it turned out. I was beyond thrilled with the results and decided to share it in the FFXIAH.com forums.
I was blown away by the reception my creation received. PMs and comments started to flood in with people asking to purchase this dagger and requests for other weapons. I decided to open my Etsy store and immediately got a flood of orders!
This lit a fire under me to take my other CAD modeled weapons and get them 3D print ready to share with everybody else! I got to work redesigning the Elemental Staff to be printer friendly and eventually released that as well. Again, I was hit with a flood of orders and requests! So many that my single 3D printer was not going to be able to keep up with demand. So I purchased another 3D printer as well as a friend let me borrow his.
Rinse and repeat all the way to present day. I'm striving to create the best quality and lowest priced 3D printed FFXI weapons to share with everybody. I've been playing this amazing game for 17 years now and it's an awesome feeling to bring some of the best memories of that game into real life.
