What is a decant?
A decant is a smaller portion of fragrance carefully transferred from its original full-size bottle into a separate spray atomizer. You receive the same authentic fragrance — just in a more affordable, travel-friendly size. Decanting lets you try luxury and niche scents without committing to a full bottle.
Are your fragrances authentic?
Yes. Every decant is hand-transferred from a full-size bottle purchased through authorized retail channels. We do not mix, dilute, alter, or reformulate the fragrance in any way — you receive the original liquid in our own atomizer. Please note: because the fragrance is no longer in its original sealed packaging, we describe it as "hand-decanted from a genuine source bottle" rather than "factory-sealed."
Are you affiliated with the brands you decant?
No. Kiss of Aroma is an independent decanting studio. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or licensed by any of the fragrance brands referenced in our listings. All trademarks and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the source fragrance contained in each decant.
How long will my decant last?
Stored upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat, your decant will retain scent integrity for approximately 12–18 months. Glass atomizers protect the fragrance better than plastic — keep the cap sealed when not in use to maximize longevity.
What size should I order?
• 2 ml — about 30–40 sprays, perfect for testing a new scent (~1 week of daily use) • 5 ml — about 80–100 sprays, ideal for travel or a few weeks of regular wear • 10 ml — about 160–200 sprays, great if you already love the scent and want to wear it for ~2 months
If you've never tried the fragrance before, we recommend starting with 2 ml.
Why don't you ship internationally / by air?
Fragrances contain alcohol, which is classified as a hazardous material under USPS, UPS, and FedEx regulations. We can only ship via USPS Ground within the United States. We're working on expanding shipping options and will update our policies when international shipping becomes available.
