From a 3D Pen to My Own Business
What started as a fun hobby at 10 years old has grown into something I never expected: **my own 3D printing business.**
My 3D printing journey began with a simple 3D pen. I loved being able to create things with my own hands, and I quickly became fascinated by how 3D printing worked. I started researching 3D printers and discovered that I could turn digital designs into real, physical objects.
By the time I was 11, I had saved up enough money to buy my first 3D printer — a **Creality Ender 3 V3 SE**. I was hooked. I spent hours learning how to use it, experimenting with different designs, and printing things for myself, my family, and just because I thought they were cool.
Then came the moment that changed everything.
I was part of my school's Student Council, and we were looking for ways to raise money for a fundraiser. I volunteered to bring in some of my 3D printed toys to sell. I wasn't sure what people would think, but the response was incredible. **Kids at my school loved them!**
That gave me an idea: *What if I actually tried selling my creations at an event?*
So I set up my first 3D printing booth at a small one-day event. It was an amazing experience. I got to show people what I had made, talk to customers, and watch people get excited about things that I had designed and printed myself.
After that first event, I used the money I earned to buy my first **Bambu Lab printer**. Having a faster and more advanced printer meant I could create even more and take my ideas further.
I then took part in another event that lasted **three days**. This time, I was able to sell even more of my creations and gain even more experience running my booth. **I earned enough from that event to buy a second Bambu Lab printer!** Instead of just spending the money I made, I was able to put it right back into my business and grow it even further.
That experience made me realize just how far I could take this. I decided to take my biggest step yet: **opening my own Etsy shop.**
And that's how I got here.
At just **12 years old**, what started with a 3D pen has turned into a real small business. I've gone from learning how to make my first little creations to running booths at events, investing my earnings back into my business, buying my own equipment, and selling my products online.
I'm still learning. I'm still experimenting. And I'm still coming up with new things to print.
But this is only the beginning.
**From a 3D pen at 10, to my first printer at 11, to my own business at 12 — this is my 3D printing journey.**
