How Light Of Oneiric came to be
Hi everyone! The name you see under my account is actually my Mom's. As a minor, I can't own and run my own shop, so as my guardian, her name is what you'll see. My name is Grace Aljets. Since I was two all I wanted to do was create and draw. It began with scribbling messily on a sheet of printer paper to the digital downloads and plushes you see now. I became obsessed with digital art after I moved to the wonderful city of Gig Harbor. Back where I used to live, Denver, I didn't really have any friends and we didn't live close to family. When we moved here, I had tons of support really quickly and all of our family lives here in Washington. People are always asking me what inspires me to create, but the truth is, I really don't know. What I can tell you though is that I started sewing very young. Ever since then, I wanted to make stuffed animals. I kept sewing. I was good at it, but the only thing that I just couldn't get right, was the face. I googled pretty much every face idea I could think of and then, I saw something I couldn't take my eyes off. It was indeed a handmade one of a kind (OOAK) poseable art doll. I was in love. The fantasy fox was a deep Prussian blue with blazing green eyes and a crown delicately made of lace. The fox looked fierce, but on her face was almost a smile, a wise one. I knew immediately that was what I was going to do. You might see only digital downloads in my shop right now, but I can almost guarantee that there will be art dolls in Light Of Oneiric soon! A quick reminder to anyone who's interested in purchasing art dolls, each one is unique and one of a kind. Please check before ordering that it is still available. Thank you so much!
