LITTLEPOLYGONS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Littlepolygons collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you purchase a digital product, contact the shop, or otherwise use our services through Etsy.
This policy applies to Littlepolygons only. It does not apply to Etsy or other third-party services that we do not own or control. Please review Etsy’s Privacy Policy for information about Etsy’s own data practices.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you place an order or contact Littlepolygons, Etsy may provide us with information necessary to process your purchase and provide customer support. This may include:
• Your name and Etsy username;
• Your email address;
• Your billing country and relevant order information;
• Details of the digital product you purchased; and
• Information you voluntarily provide through Etsy Messages.
Littlepolygons sells digital products, including downloadable STL files. No physical shipping information is normally required to fulfil an order.
All payments are processed securely by Etsy. Littlepolygons does not receive or store your complete credit-card, bank-account, or payment-login information.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information only when necessary to:
• Process and fulfil your digital order;
• Provide access to purchased digital files;
• Respond to questions and provide customer support;
• Resolve order problems, claims, or disputes;
• Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
• Maintain legally required business and tax records;
• Improve our products and customer service;
• Comply with Etsy’s policies and Terms of Use; and
• Meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
We do not use information received from Etsy to send unsolicited advertising or promotional messages.

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Where applicable under data-protection law, we process personal information on the following legal bases:
• Contract: Processing necessary to complete your order and provide the purchased product;
• Legal obligation: Processing necessary to meet tax, accounting, regulatory, or legal requirements;
• Legitimate interests: Processing necessary to operate and improve Littlepolygons, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and comply with Etsy’s policies, provided these interests do not override your rights; and
• Consent: Processing for a specific purpose where you have provided clear consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Littlepolygons does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share limited information in the following circumstances:
• With Etsy, as necessary to process orders, deliver digital products, provide customer support, and comply with Etsy’s rules;
• With trusted professional advisers or service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the shop or meet legal obligations;
• When required by law, court order, legal proceedings, or an authorized government request;
• To investigate fraud, security incidents, intellectual-property violations, or misuse of our products; and
• As part of a lawful sale, merger, or transfer of the business.
Information is shared only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

5. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution requirements.
Order-related records are generally retained for up to four years unless a different retention period is required by applicable law. Information that is no longer necessary will be deleted or securely disposed of where reasonably possible.
Etsy may retain certain information independently according to its own privacy and retention policies.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Because Etsy operates internationally, personal information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence. Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your country.
Information processed independently by Etsy is governed by Etsy’s Privacy Policy and the data-transfer safeguards described in that policy.
