Frequently asked questions

In what language are the knitting patterns available?

All patterns are written in English, using standard international knitting abbreviations (k, p, yo, k2tog, ssk, and so on).

What format will I receive the pattern in?

All patterns are digital PDF files. After purchase, your file will be available instantly in your Etsy account under Purchases & Reviews. No physical item will be shipped.

What skill level are your patterns written for?

Most patterns are designed for advanced beginners — if you can knit, purl, and work basic increases and decreases, you're ready. Each listing specifies the skill level, and all patterns include detailed step-by-step photos to guide you through every stage.

What yarn weight do your patterns use?

Most patterns use DK weight yarn (CYC #3). The yarn weight and recommended needle size are listed in each individual pattern description.

Can I sell finished items made from your patterns?

Yes! You're welcome to sell finished hand-knitted items made from my patterns. Please credit LoveKnitPatterns as the pattern designer. The pattern itself may not be copied, shared, or resold.

What sizes are included in your patterns?

Sizes vary by pattern, but most include Newborn, 0–3m, 3–6m, 6–12m, 12–18m, and 18–24m. Some patterns also include toddler sizes up to 4 years. Check the individual listing for the exact sizes included.

I have a question about a pattern I purchased. Can you help?

Absolutely — I'm happy to help! Send me a message through Etsy and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I want every knitting experience with my patterns to be smooth and enjoyable.
