Beautiful shell, very poor quality fittings, despite being advertised as sterling silver. At this price point that is unacceptable. Refund offered, but that is a hassle and will cost me time and money.

We apologise for the inconvenience. We did offer replacement fittings at our expense as well as a full refund. The customer did not take advantage of our offer and stated it was to inconvenient and it would cost her money. It would not have cost her anything as we would have absorbed the return postage.

Luma means emitting light according to Roman mythology

All living beings need light. As a photographer light is essential to capture images. What inspired me to create jewellery? It started at a young age when I collected all sorts of minerals while hiking with my parents in the Swiss Alps. It always fascinated me. Now a few decades later I taught myself how to create jewellery. I bought the necessary equipment and started to work with natural shells. Possibilities are endless and nothing is the same. Working predominantly with Paua shells is magic in itself and the colours are simply scintillating.
