Full grain leather is made from the strongest part of the animal and therefore makes the most durable and most water-resistant form of leather, however, like other leathers it should also be treated with a beeswax or spray to improve its waterproofness.If the worst happens and your bag gets soaking wet don’t force-dry leather with heat or direct sun. Wipe it with a dry cloth and leave to dry slowly, ensure it is properly shaped as it dries because if it dries while crushed it will be next to impossible to recover its original shape.
