Este viaje de amor que llamo joyería comenzó hace 8 años. Siempre caminaba por el camino no tomado. Cumplir con mi felicidad siempre fue una prioridad, ya sea en el amor, la amistad o una carrera. Mientras se prueba muchos zapatos en el mundo laboral. Descubrí mi pasión, las piedras preciosas, las joyas y el metal.

Trabajé en una tienda metafísica donde vendíamos montones de cristales curativos, libros espirituales, CD, aceites esenciales y lo mejor de todo joyas hechas a mano. Este lugar era un tesoro para todas las cosas brillantes. Desarrollé un vínculo satisfactorio con todos los casos de trabajo artesanal a mi alrededor. Pasé horas reorganizando exhibiciones, charlando con clientes y encontrando hogares para las joyas que almacenamos.

Comencé a hacer joyas básicas envueltas en alambre, en los años siguientes comencé a incursionar en joyas vintage y en el ciclismo. Siempre incorporé piedras preciosas en mi trabajo, sin importar el estilo, la piedra llevaba el propósito. Soñaba con la orfebrería.

Después de años de envoltura de alambre, me inscribí en un programa de joyería y tomé cursos intermitentes durante tres años con fantásticos instructores aquí en Nueva York. Desde maestros talladores de cera hasta orfebres finos, adquirí el conocimiento y la habilidad adecuados de varias manos. MeShe Designs se convirtió en una línea que sirve a la piedra preciosa. Centrándose en la belleza pura de la madre tierra, con líneas mínimas y limpias. Altos pulidos y acabados a mano para mostrar el arte de lo hecho a mano.

Realmente creo que todo está en el acabado, lograr un brillo alto y brillante es la iluminación definitiva tanto para el metal como para la piedra.

This journey of love I call jewelry started 8 years ago. I always walked on the road not taken. To fulfill my happiness was always a priority, whether it be in love, friendship or a career. While trying on many shoes in the working world. I discovered my passion, gemstones, jewelry, and metal.

I worked at a metaphysical store where we sold oodles of healing crystals, spiritual books, CD's, essential oils, and best of all handmade jewelry. This place was a treasure trove for all things shiny. I developed a satisfying bond with all the cases of handmade work around me. I spent hours rearranging displays, chatting with customers and finding homes for the jewelry we stocked.

I started making basic wire wrapped jewelry, in the years following I started dabbling into vintage jewelry and up cycling. I always incorporated gemstones into my work, no matter what the style, the stone carried the purpose. I dreamed of metalsmithing.

After years of wire wrapping I enrolled into a jewelry program and took courses on and off for three years with fantastic instructors here in NY. From master wax carvers to fine goldsmiths, I acquired proper knowledge and skill from various hands. MeShe Designs evolved into a line that serves to the gemstone. Focusing on the sheer beauty of mother earth, with clean minimal lines. High polishes and hand finishing to display the art of handmade.

I truly believe its all in the finish, achieving a lustrous high shine is the ultimate enlightenment for both metal and stone.
