Sewing has been a passion of mine for most of my life.

I am amazed at how the sewing arts can evoke the memories of the past, create memories in the present, and preserve memories for the future. I have seen how a T-shirt quilt has helped a person to remember a special time in their life. I have watched a dementia patient fidget with a sensory quilt and be engrossed with the activity. I have also seen many moms treasure baby blankets that once wrapped their newborn. I can’t wait to see how the next project will touch memories for others, both now and for the rest of their life.

We all have memories, and they all are important. I want to help preserve memories from the past while making new ones for the future. How can I use the sewing arts to create a memory for you?
