We believe that HiFi furniture is part of your listening experience, enhancing both the aesthetic of your setup, and the mindful process of sitting down, choosing a record and appreciating the moment.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our choice of materials; we hand select quality timber from sustainable forests, as well as use 100% plastic free packaging for our range of timber products.
Founded by Matt Preston, a Product & Furniture Design graduate from Northumbria University, Mist Audio is driven by his passion for music, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.
Our work embodies the Japanese concept of ‘Ikigai’—finding joy in the harmonious intersection of what we love, what we are skilled at, what the world needs, and what can support us financially.
Based in the vibrant Ouseburn area of Newcastle upon Tyne, our workshop blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
Ikigai (生き甲斐) is a Japanese concept that means "a reason for
being." It represents the balance of what you love, what you're good at,
what the world needs, and what you can be paid for.
