Les gens me demandent : « Pourquoi la Lune en juin ? »
J’ai l’habitude de leur dire que c’est « parce que ça sonne bien. Je suis né en juin et je suis un oiseau de nuit ». C’est la version nutshell... Mais je veux essayer de partager la vraie signification derrière le nom.
Le studio Moon In June est né d’un besoin de mise à la terre. Travailler avec de l’argile était un moyen de se reconnecter à cette terre et à mon corps à une époque où la réalité semblait ténue.
La Lune est une métaphore de l’intangible : rêves, émotions, idées. Je l’utilise pour explorer la richesse de mon esprit et de mon esprit.
Juin, un mois qui, dans l’hémisphère nord, est plein de vie verte et florissante, est une métaphore de la relation entre mon corps et cette terre. J’utilise cette métaphore pour explorer la richesse de mes cinq sens et pour m’aider à rester connecté à mes racines.
Je travaille avec de l’argile, mais je travaille aussi constamment avec ma psyché. Je suis ouvert à laisser le travail changer et s’agrandir si nécessaire. C’est ma mission de continuer à apprendre et de partager la beauté avec le monde quand je le peux.

People ask me : "Why Moon In June?"
I usually tell them it's "because it sounds nice. I was born in June and I'm a night owl". It's the nutshell version... But I want to try sharing the real meaning behind the name.
Moon In June studio was born from a need for grounding. Working with clay was a way to reconnect to this earth and to my body during a time when reality felt tenuous.
The Moon is a metaphor for the intangible: dreams, emotions, ideas. I use it to explore the richness of my mind & spirit.
June, a month that, in the northern hemisphere, is full of green, thriving life, is a metaphor for the relationship between my body and this earth. I use this metaphor to explore the richness of my five senses & to help keep me connected to my roots.
I work with clay, but I am also constantly working with my psyche. I'm open to letting the work shift and expand as is necessary. It's my mission to keep learning and to share beauty with the world when I can.
