5 out of 5 starsI love the pattern, it makes a fabulous dress. I have made one and have ordered the fabric for 2 more dresses.

Oh wow, this made my day! 🥹 Two more dresses already? That’s the best kind of review. I’d love to see them when they’re done! 🤍

4 out of 5 starsWith some adjustments it’s quiet a nice pattern. Will definitely sew this more than once ;)

5 out of 5 starsThe pattern was easy to follow and I'd recommend for other beginners. This is the first dress that I've made. I used a dark brown linen and I'm so happy with how it turned out. Thank you!

5 out of 5 starsreally cute pattern, though the next time I am making this I would add a button at bust height. It gapes a little there, but thats not an issue and I still love my new top!
Anastasia responded on Jun 18, 2026
Thank you so much, Julia! 🤍 I’m so happy you still love your top. And yes — you’re absolutely right. For the best fit, it’s often better to mark button placement on your body rather than follow the pattern blindly: start with one button at the bust point / where it tends to gape, then place the others evenly up and down from there. That way the placket sits much better. Great note!

5 out of 5 starsI really enjoyed making this dress! I love the simple silhouette. It looks both elegant and effortless to wear. I reached out the seller with a question, and she was so kind and helpful. I will be making this dress again (I already bought the fabric!), and I would definitely buy other patterns from this seller.

5 out of 5 starsThis pattern was fun to sew, and easy to follow for a semi-beginner like me! I already had some sewing experience but this is the first clothing item I've ever made, and it turned out very nice! There was one step in the instructions that wasn't entirely clear to me, but the seller was super helpful and it all worked out well. Definitely recommend! :)

5 out of 5 starsThe pattern lines are a little confusing because I didn't see a key for the various sizing lines. I'm able to make it work but it would be nice to have more definition. Also, I think it might include seam allowance lines because it seems that there are more lines than there are sizes. Overall, not a big issue, just feedback. I'm looking forward to upcycling an old button up shirt using this pattern for a fresh spin.

Thank you so much for the helpful feedback! 😊 I really appreciate you taking the time to write it. Just to clarify: the size line key is on page 1, inside the test square / printing guide (it shows which line style corresponds to each size). For printing at home, I recommend using Adobe Acrobat Reader (it’s free) . It also lets you turn off the sizes you don’t need using the Layers panel, which makes the lines much easier to read. And yes, the pattern does include seam allowances, so there can be a few extra lines on the pieces. I completely understand how that can feel like “too many lines,” and I’m looking into ways to make this even clearer in the next update🙏 Thank you again, and I’m so excited you’re planning to upcycle a button-up shirt with it — that sounds like such a great idea! 🧵✨
