On Etsy since 2012

A great doll begins with a great body.

Originally, I created miniature cloth dolls to fill my own need for affordable, elegant dolls to wear the tiny historical fashions that I love to sew. Many experiments filled my young daughter’s dollhouse with little people prototypes. The result is a collection of soft dolls that are posable and available in many sizes and figure types.

My logo: The wild prairie crocus has a deceptively delicate appearance. One of the first wild flowers of spring, it is a symbol of renewal and hardiness, blooming right through the snow. It flourishes in dismal soil and drought conditions. Its lovely lavender petals surround a sunny yellow center, giving it a warm heart. It is said that fairies shelter there when the petals close up at night.

Frequently asked questions
Are import fees, duty and taxes included in the price?

No. My prices do not include VAT, GST, duty, or other import fees. Please check with your country's customs office to learn what additional costs they may charge you for importing goods.

How do custom orders work?

When you request a custom order, we discuss what you want, the cost and when the order will be finished. After we confirm the details of your order, I will write up a custom listing for you to purchase. After payment, I will make your item. If there is an unavoidable delay, I will contact you as soon as possible.
Before shipping, I will provide photos of the finished item for your approval. If something needs changing, I will make the change if possible. If you decide you do not want the item, I will keep it and give you a full refund. Sometimes a custom order is not refundable, but we will confirm that before you purchase.

Is your studio smoke-free and pet-free?

My home and work spaces are smoke-free.
Allergy alert: I live with two cats.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact me immediately if an item is damaged in transit. I will need photos of the damage, including the packaging, before refunding. Depending on the item and the extent of the damage, it may not be worth the cost of sending it back to me, so please ask me first.

When will my order arrive?

After I ship the order, delivery time from Canada is usually within 3 to 4 weeks, but can take longer due to customs delays at the border. Expect further delays due to the current Covid pandemic.

Are sewing patterns returnable?

Sewing patterns are not returnable.
