Todo empezó cuando mi esposo y yo tuvimos que reconstruir la cerca de nuestro patio trasero. Vi todas esas estacas hermosas y desgastadas, y el costo de construir la cerca nueva, ¡y pensé que podía vender letreros! Llamé a mi negocio "On the Fence" (me gustan los buenos juegos de palabras).
Avanzamos rápido hasta el verano de 2025. Me quedé sin estacas para cercas, ¡pero tengo una nueva idea! Abrí mi tienda en Etsy, aprendí a aprovechar las habilidades que ya tenía haciendo letreros de estacas para cercas y me puse manos a la obra.
¿Y ahora qué crear? Empecé a usar el diario bíblico hace unos años y me costaba encontrar ilustraciones que me gustaran y que, además, fueran lo suficientemente estrechas para caber bien en mi Biblia. Así que las hice yo misma, ¡y las puse a la venta en mi tienda! Ofrezco ilustraciones para el diario bíblico, herramientas para el estudio bíblico, artículos para regalar (etiquetas y decoración para kits de cuidado personal) y arte para el hogar o para otras manualidades. Todo está hecho con mucho cariño, y espero tener siempre una gran selección de diseños inspirados en las Escrituras y en las fiestas.
It really started when my husband and I need to rebuild our backyard fence. I looked at all those beautiful, weathered pickets - and the cost of building the new fence - and thought I can sell signs! I called my business "On the Fence" - I tend to like a good play on words.
Fast forward to the summer of 2025. I'm out of fence pickets, but I have new idea! I opened my shop on Etsy, learned how to build on the skills I already had from making fence picket signs, and got to work.
Now, what to create? I had begun Bible journaling a few years ago and struggled to find artwork I was happy with that was also narrow enough to fit correctly in my Bible. So, I made my own - and put it in my shop! I offer Bible journaling art, Bible study tools, gifting supplies (tags and care kit decor), and art for your home or other crafting needs. Everything is created from the heart, and I hope to always have a great selection of scripture-inspired and holiday-inspired designs.
