How Rose & Hummingbird got its name.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful young lady named Barbara. She loved roses. Everything about them made her smile. One day she met a dashing young man named Tom. He was in the Canadian Air Force and fascinated by helicopters, and very soon, Barbara. They shared a wonderful life together, until one day Barbara fell ill. She stayed long enough to celebrate 50 happy years with her Tom, her hummingbird who loved to fly every which way. Tom decided, after 14 years of missing his rose, he would join her. So the Rose had her Hummingbird back once more. They now look down, together, on the beautiful family they created.
Their oldest grandchild decided to honour them by creating a small business whose main mission is to bring warmth and peace through handmade knit and crochet pieces, that can be passed down for generations.
She hopes she is making them proud.
