A little bit about Sew Hello
Hola, soy Mary, fundadora de Sew Hello Patterns. Sew Hello se inició y todavía se ejecuta desde un pequeño rincón de nuestra querida sala de estar ecléctica en el extremo suroeste de África: Ciudad del Cabo. Después de tener tres (encantadores) hijos en rápida sucesión, era muy consciente de que la industria corporativa de la confección ya no era una opción viable para mí. Entonces, fue una decisión fácil convertir lo que me encanta hacer (patronaje) en un pequeño negocio, y así Sew Hello comenzó en septiembre de 2022.
Algunos datos interesantes sobre los orígenes de Sew Hello Patterns:

Hello, I am Mary, founder of Sew Hello Patterns. Sew Hello was started and still runs from a tiny corner in our much-loved eclectic living room on the south western most tip of Africa: Cape Town. After having three (delightful) children in quick succession, I was very aware that the corporate clothing industry was no longer a feasible option for me. So, it was an easy decision to turn what I absolutely love doing (pattern making) into a little business, and so Sew Hello began in September 2022.
A few good to know facts about the origins of Sew Hello Patterns:
- I am fussy about how a garment fits and comfort trumps all
- I lean towards styles that won’t be old news in just one season
- I want people of all sizes to be able to make clothing using Sew Hello patterns
and feel GREAT in them
- I have a background in corporate pattern making and quality assurance, and
therefore, my patterns are constructed thoughtfully and meticulously with a
very high attention to detail
- I include extremely detail illustrations to support the instructions, so that the
maker never feels overwhelmed of confused by the sewing steps
- Sometimes it is not my foot pushing the sewing machine foot pedal - I have
three very enthusiastic helpers when I am sewing up samples :)
