I created Sewing Pattern Secrets because I believe sewing patterns should be affordable—and they should actually teach you how to sew.
Most patterns don’t.
They give you steps, but not understanding. And that leaves so many sewists feeling stuck, even when they already have the skill.
So I built Sewing Pattern Secrets—a growing library of 160+ patterns paired with clear instructions and video support, designed to bring everything into one organized place.
That vision evolved into my newest creation: Design Secrets—a deeper learning experience with 12 modules, 22 patterns, and step-by-step design training inspired by iconic styles, all supported by charts, lesson plans, and a community.

On Etsy, We now offer 8.5X11" printable PDFS and A4 patterns. If you need A4 pattern and it was not provided, write us at support [!at] sewingpatternsecrets.com to request the A4 pattern. All customers will print the PDF instructions provided "Fit to Page" regardless if you have US Letter or A4 Printers.
We work ridiculously hard to make sewing as easy as possible for the beginner home sewist, whilst creating trending and lovely designs for everyone in the family. Our patterns, diagrams and specs are specifically made with this in mind and our videos supplement our instructions for those tricky sewing constructions.

4 out of 5 starsI used the smallest (4-5y) pattern and the final result was too big for my 4y. This size is rather for a 6y. The basic jumpsuit pattern doesn't have the marks for the placement of the accessories, so you have to figure it on your own where to place the spots, eyes, tail, etc. I also had a problem when printing the pattern. I used 2 different printers from 2 different offices, but the pattern line didn't closed all its lines. But the costumer service was very fast, prompt, helpful! 💚

4 out of 5 starsThis pattern fits together beautifully, but there are a few things that would make it easier to assemble. The .5 cm seam allowance in US units is less than .25 inch and that narrow a seam allowance is challenging. Placement marks for the eyes, nostrils and the gills would be helpful. That being said, I downsized this to a size 2-3 and all the pieces fit perfectly. That shows that the initial drafting was spot on. The pattern maker was very helpful when I had questions.

4 out of 5 starsI bought the sewing pattern for the dinosaur especially to get some idea for face and teeth and back triangles... and it works well as a whole. Fortunately I am a lucky sewer. I don't know: I often read the hint of "accessories instruction" but I never found one. I only got the pattern for. For real beginners this could be challenging.
