SlavMedieval Shop is a workshop that reconstructs historical clothing, based on archaeological findings and medieval iconography. We are making clothes for Vikings, Slavs and other reenactors of the medieval world. Each item is made to order in our workshop in Poland.
Katarzyna (the shop owner) is an archaeologist by education, so historical accuracy is very important to our work. We study archaeological finds before sewing any item.
We really love the fantasy world, computer games and various universes, so here you can find cosplay costumes and gorgeous fantasy outfits/dresses.

2. Slav Medieval Shop, hereinafter called the Shop, allows you to purchase goods via an electronic network (Internet) - at SlavMedievalShop.com, the phone: +48 793-099 906 and e-mail order at Rzepkowepole [!at] gmail.com, and other sale places named SlavMedievalShop
3. Placing an order by the Customers shall be tantamount to a declaration that they have read the Conditions of Use and they commit to observe it.
4. The Seller reserves the right to change the Conditions of Use at any time. Amendments to the rules and regulations shall come into force from the moment of their publication.
5. The Shop is in the Polish Republic and the principles of its operation and dispute resolutions are governed by Polish law.
6. Item "marked as a gift":
All products are packed carefully to avoid damage in transport. Due to customs law we need to add all needed documents like invoices, value declarations, and packing slips. There is not possible to send the package as a gift without these documents (to avoid customs duties).
7. Sales and discount codes
You can use the discount codes available to you from our store for all products, except for custom orders. Custom orders are not subject to the discount code due to additional work, materials and time. If you make a custom order and use a discount on it, the store has the right to require an additional payment in the amount of the used discount. If a custom listing is made for you during a sale, please wait until the end of the sale and purchase the listing by filling in the personalization panel with all the important data, including the date you need the order for, if necessary.
8. Additional charges for rush orders and delivery delays
SlavMedievalShop does not have an option to pay extra for faster order fulfillment. All orders are executed in turn without exception. If you need an urgent order, please contact us first and find out if it is possible to sew your order before the specified time. SlavMedievalShop is also not responsible for delays in courier companies and local post. All orders are sent at the specified time, however, the delivery time does not depend on our workshop.
8) Plus size orders
We have the right to refuse an order of large sizes or require an additional payment. This is due to increased material consumption and technical difficulties. The cost plus order size is calculated individually for each client. The minimum markup per order starts at 20% depending on the product. Fantasy costumes are not sewn in sizes larger than:
- Female bust circumference bigger than 128cm (50 inches)
- Male chest circumference bigger than 132 cm (52 inches)
If the fantasy costume is made in a size larger than the above, the cost of the custom size surcharge will be 50% of the cost of the largest size.

Payment
Price does not include customs duties and taxes charged by the importing country. The customer is responsible to pay any custom duties.
Shipping
I make shipments on Wednesday only. It also applies ready for shipping items.
Shipping costs can be higher than calculated in the listing, due to long distances or inaccessible areas. This applies in particular to shipping by TNT (FedEx), UPS or DHL express. In this case, I will have to ask You for a surcharge for shipping costs.
a) The fulfillment term amounts to 28 WORKING days for one or two items, at orders of 3-7 items the fulfillment term is 30 working days, for more than 7 items the date is being set individually.
b) In some cases, the delivery time may be extended, for which the shop is not responsible but the Customer will be informed.
c) The Shop isn't bearing responsibility for delays resulting from not sending on time by the Customer the body dimensions needed for the fulfillment of the order.
d) The orders will be fulfilled in the shortest possible time. The Customer will be notified via email about the shipment. The registered user of the Shop will be able to check the status of the order’s fulfillment, after logging onto his/her account.
e) Delivery time depends on the chosen mode of transport and the country of destination. The shop is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
d. It applies to shipments to the US, Canada, and Australia. :
Since November 1 the Your local carrier makes it impossible to track registered letters (RR ********* PL) . If within 21 days, your goods have not been delivered, please write me a message. Then I'll be able to lodge a complaint at the post office, to find the package.

Laundering:
Wool:
• wash in cold water (at the higher temperature it may shrink and mat) or dry clean
• only hand wash
• use only mild washing detergents for wool
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• do not use bleach or stain removers
ALL MANUALLY SEWN CLOTHES SCHOULD BE WASH BY HAND!
Linen:
• temperature 40C - colored clothes; 60C – white or natural colored clothes
• hand wash is recommended
• alternatively – launder in the washing machine using „hand wash” program
• do not use bleach or stain removers
• no spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibers)
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• to keep the look, please, best ironed clothes with wetting water.
ALL MANUALLY SEWN CLOTHES SCHOULD BE WASH BY HAND!
Silk:
• temperature 30C
• hand wash only, use mild washing detergents
• take special care!
• hang in the vertical position to dry
Fur and leather:
Do not wash in water!
Only dry clean permitted
Storage:
• after returning from the trips, get rid of the dirt/grass/hay/leaves from your clothes
• dried clothes store in a dry place
• storage in the hanging position is recommended
• to avoid damage by moths hang in the closet/put in the case some lavender bags
The store is not responsible for damages resulting from a different method of conservation than recommended

Frequently asked questions
Sizing details
Our size chart is listed in each product. We do not use international size charts, as we use our own. Order your size based on the widest point of your measurements. All of our clothes are tailored to your measurements, if you add them. We are not responsible for incorrectly measured measurements and ignoring our size chart.
If you choose a size without adding your measurements, we will make the clothes to the maximum measurements of your chosen size. If you do not specify the height, the items will be made for a standard height of 168 cm (woman). Men's clothes have a standard length, regardless of height, except for pants. Pants will be sewn for height 175-180 cm.
Care instructions
The rules for washing and caring for clothes are indicated in each product. Check out our Laundry section in the store description. We are not responsible for ignorance of the care of our clothes. We are not responsible for items damaged by the customer and do not accept returns of these items.
Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are packed as standard in paper, boxes, foil or envelopes, depending on the quantity and size of the order.
Wholesale availability
We work according to the standard scheme, as well as with all orders, regardless of the quantity. We do not offer big discounts on many items. We do not change the production time to a shorter one. Moreover, the production time may be longer. All our items come with tags from our workshop and are not subject to removal.
Custom height and destrictions for full height.
Women: All of our items go for the total height that the client specifies. If the height is not specified, the item will be sewn for a height of 168 cm. Women taller than 178 cm should contact us for additional fees for materials.
Men: All clothes have a standard length, regardless of height (concerns the upper elements of clothing). Men taller than 185 cm should contact us for an additional charge if additional length is desired and mandatory for lower elements of clothing.
Clothing for children above the indicated height in the size table is also discussed individually.
Items for the full heights below 168cm and above 170cm cannot be returned or exchanged.
Plus size items
Our workshop can sew a plus size item, but also we have the right to refuse it. All plus size items are discussed individually and are subject to an additional charge depending on the client's measurements. Plus size clothing is not eligible for discounts due to custom sizing, extra work and materials. When using a discount, we have a right to ask the client for an additional payment in the cost of the used discount or to cancel the order altogether in case of disagreement.
We are not responsible for tailoring clothes for individual physical features of the body. We only use your measurements. Plus size orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
Custom and personalised orders
All custom orders are subject to an additional charge and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Custom orders are not subject to discounts and cannot be purchased on sale. When using a discount, we have a right to ask the client for an additional payment in the cost of the used discount or to cancel the order altogether in case of disagreement.
The production time for custom orders is from two months, depending on the amount of work. We do not copy the work of other workshops and may refuse you in case of such a request.
We are not responsible for tailoring clothes for individual physical features of the body. We only use your measurements.
Historical consultation
We are happy to help you with the choice of clothes, based on the information that is already indicated in the description of our products. All additional information about the historicity of the costume, colors, cut, period, region, accessories and other elements and details can be obtained through a paid consultation.
We also recommend using Google and GPT Chat to research your question.
All questions that are not related to the regions and periods we study are related to the study of your question and are also paid separately, in addition to the cost of the consultation.
