Sprouts Press is a hand bindery, printmaking and paper arts studio that provides beautiful, functional hand bound journals and book themed products made from the heart.
At Sprouts Press each book is crafted by hand; page paper is cut, boards are wrapped and pasted and the pages are sewn with a needle and thread, the old fashioned way. It is the continuing of an important tradition, the merging of beauty and function, and a rebirth of materials reclaimed into a new object designed for discovery and inspiration.
Much is considered when designing a good journal; size, colour and function. But mostly people should be able to express their hearts out in these books. They are designed to be used, well worn and well loved.

5 out of 5 starsBought the beginner soft cover book binding kit to see if I can slowly learn how to eventually bind hardcovers, and it’s such a great introduction to book binding! The instructions are GREAT (better than some of the YouTube videos I’ve been watching). Highly recommended! Amazing way to be introduced into book binding :) will definitely be supporting this store more in the future
