I love the versatility and creativity of machine embroidery. Welcome!

In 2010 I was in a creative rut. To give myself the push I needed I started the blog 50 First Crafts (http://50firstcrafts.wordpress.com/). The blog was a way for me to both revisit craft projects I had enjoyed in my youth and try out new techniques. I discovered many new amazing crafts, but the one that I fell in love with was machine embroidery.

Using a machine on loan from a friend, I produced a set of embroidered tea towels for my first craft fair in 2012. They were a huge hit. In 2013 I made another set and sold them all. This year I decided to try producing a wider variety of items.

As I am a nanny by profession, it was natural for me to try a few designs on bibs and other items for kids. My friends loved them! This store exists because of their encouragement.
