Willkommen im Taurus Woodshop! Hier fertige ich gerne handgefertigte, einzigartige Geschenke aller Art, Schreibwaren, Accessoires, Wohndekoration, Spiele und DIY-Projekte für die Kinder.
Ich arbeite täglich von 9 bis 17 Uhr als IT-Sicherheitsberater, habe mich aber schon immer für verschiedene Bereiche der Holzbearbeitung interessiert. Ich war immer erstaunt, wie Menschen aus einem Stück Holz etwas Einzigartiges machen konnten. Als Covid die Welt eroberte, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit, um mich schon seit langem mit dem Federdrehen zu beschäftigen. Also stürzte ich mich kopfüber hinein, kaufte meine Drehmaschine und einige Drehwerkzeuge und drehte schnell meinen ersten Stift. Als ich dort stand und auf den Stift schaute, den ich gerade gemacht hatte, wurde mir klar, dass ich süchtig danach war, und seitdem habe ich nicht mehr zurückgeschaut.
Es macht mir wirklich Spaß, in der Werkstatt zu arbeiten und einzigartige Gegenstände mit meinen Händen zu bauen und zu erschaffen. Es ist eine schöne Abwechslung, wenn ich den ganzen Tag vor dem Computer sitze. Ich habe eine große Liebe zum Detail und bin sehr stolz darauf, qualitativ hochwertige Produkte zu schaffen, die jedem, der eine meiner Kreationen erhält, ein Lächeln und Freude bereiten. So wurde Taurus Woodshop geboren.

Welcome to Taurus Woodshop! Here I like to make handmade unique gifts of all sorts, stationary, accessories, home decor, games and DIY projects for the kiddos.
I work as a IT Security consultant for my 9-5 daily grind, but I have always had an interest in different areas of woodworking. I was always amazed how people could take a chunk of wood and make something that was unique. So when Covid took over the world, I took the opportunity to take up a long time interest in pen turning. So I dove in head first and bought my lathe and some turning tools and quickly turned my first pen. As I stood there and looked at the pen I had just made I realized I was hooked, and I haven't looked back since.
I find a real joy working in the shop, building and creating unique items with my hands, it is a nice change of pace from sitting in front of a computer all day. I have a strong attention to detail and take great pride in creating high-quality products that bring smiles and joy to everyone that receives one of my creations. Thus Taurus Woodshop was born.
