I have been looking for the right ornament to signify my son's type 1 diabetes diagnosis on Christmas Day last year. This is perfect. It's well crafted and beautifully detailed. It's subtle in the way that it doesn't scream diabetes if someone is looking at our tree but it's a piece that I will always know what it's meaning is.
