Hi, I'm Kyla, the owner of The Layover Shop.
I'm a flight attendant, crystal lover, Reiki practitioner and someone who has always been fascinated by the connection between our physical, emotional and energetic well-being.
My background is in kinesiology and health coaching, where I spent years learning about movement, stress, recovery and how the body responds to the demands we place on it. The more I studied stress and burnout, the more curious I became about the emotional, energetic and spiritual side of well-being. That curiosity led me into the world of crystal healing, Reiki, energy work and intuitive development.
Rather than seeing those worlds as separate, I've always been interested in how they work together.
The Layover Shop was created as a place where all of those passions could come together under one roof.

Every offering in this shop reflects something that has been part of my own journey, whether that's a crystal I've worked with for years, a healing modality I've studied or a tool that has helped me reconnect with myself when life felt overwhelming.
As a flight attendant, I've spent years meeting people from all walks of life. One thing I've learned is that most of us are looking for many of the same things: clarity, purpose, confidence in our decisions, connection and a deeper understanding of ourselves.
That's what inspires the work I do.
