Hey — I'm Kris.
I've spent my career in training and development — designing
programs, facilitating sessions, and trying to figure out
why some training sticks and some doesn't.
Before moving into L&D full time, I worked in the insurance
industry — first as a trainer onboarding new agents, then
as a licensed P&C agent myself. That background gave me
something a lot of training professionals don't have:
experience on both sides of the room. I know what it's like
to sit through a compliance training that puts you to sleep,
and I know what it costs an organization when learning
doesn't transfer to the job.
Here's what I kept running into as a trainer:
The tools didn't exist. Or they were generic. Or they were
built by someone who'd read about training but never
actually stood in front of a room full of people who'd
rather be anywhere else.
So I built my own.
The templates in this shop are what I actually use:
• The Training Program Planner — because I got tired of
rebuilding session agendas from a blank spreadsheet
• The Evaluation Tracker — because "participants seemed
to enjoy it" stopped being good enough when leadership
started asking for ROI

participants across enrollment, attendance, and assessments
in three different spreadsheets is a special kind of chaos
• The Training Design Standards file — because inconsistent
training quality is a solvable problem, and this is how
I solved it
